Michael K. Knudsen

Michael Knudsen brings almost 20 years of real estate experience to the firm’s residential closing practice.  He counsels lender, buyer and seller clients on residential real estate transactions including new and existing home purchases and sales, refinancing, foreclosures and leasing issues.  He also brings extensive experience with estates and trusts and is a licensed title insurance agent with Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Company.

Prior to joining the firm, Michael was the managing attorney of Ruth, Macneille & Knudsen, PA on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, where he directed the residential and commercial real estate department and managed the estate administration and planning department.

Michael is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the South Carolina Bar and the Northeast Atlanta Metro Association of REALTORS®.  Prior to moving to Georgia, he was active in the South Carolina legal community for 17 years including participation with the Hilton Head Council of Estate Financial Advisors, Hilton Head Island and Beaufort County Bar Associations and the South Carolina Bar Association.
