Miguel Barboza

Miguel Barboza, an attorney in the firm’s residential closing practice, counsels clients on residential real estate closings and refinances and provides sound advice on a variety of real estate matters. His practice includes reviewing and clearing titles, preparing loan closing packages and the issuance of title insurance. With a focus on personal client service, Miguel educates and assists clients from contract to closing to ensure a smooth closing experience.

Prior to joining Weissman, Miguel managed and operated several real estate closing offices, building strong relationships in the community. He particularly enjoys working with special groups where he can reach out to the Hispanic community and provide valuable tools and knowledge for potential careers in the real estate industry. He was the Professional Development Director of the Hispanic Law Student Association at the University of Georgia School of Law and is a member of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals.

Miguel is bilingual in Spanish and English. In his spare time, he enjoys reading Stephen King books, spending time outside, traveling and spending time with his family.
