When you don’t know what to expect, you know who to call.
Your Power of Attorneys acts on your behalf should you be unable to do so. This person, called your “attorney-in-fact,” can sign in your stead for legal documents. We can help you decide if that person should be able to sign when needed as soon as you signed the Power of Attorney, or if it makes sense to only allow them to sign if you are physically or mentally incapable of managing your financial or business affairs. This document is only valid while you are living. A healthcare agent is a separate designations under “Medical Directive.”
