Amelia Z. Hajer

Ameila Hajer, an attorney in the firm’s residential real estate practice, manages transactions from contract to closing to ensure a smooth and positive experience for all parties involved. Her practice includes title clearance, survey review, and addressing title insurance matters.

Amelia brings a diverse legal background shaped by experience in both the U.S. and Jamaica. Prior to joining Weissman, she provided general counsel for nonprofit organizations and advised condominium and homeowner associations on a range of real estate and corporate matters in Georgia. In Jamaica, she represented institutional and private developers, as well as individual clients, focusing on commercial and residential real estate transactions, leasing, and land use issues.

Outside of her legal work, Amelia enjoys badminton, running, biking, bridge, and bowling—and loves spending time with her dog, Pepper.
