Jaclyn A. Gilbert

Jaclyn Gilbert counsels lenders, builders, developers, and owners in a variety of commercial and residential real estate transactions. She works extensively with developers and homebuilders in several areas including contract review/drafting, acquisition due diligence, development, new home construction, as well as handling the closings for new homebuyers, and continues to develop and teach continuing education classes for Georgia lawyers.

Her previous experience includes serving as an Underwriter with Title Resources Group and First American Title. She also assisted lenders, agents, buyers, and sellers on purchase and sale contracts, refinances, and title issues providing sound legal advice leading toward a smooth closing experience as a residential real estate attorney. Jaclyn grew up in the real estate business, with her family owning a mortgage company and title company in Florida. She worked as both a mortgage broker and mortgage processor earlier in her career giving her a deep understanding of real estate transactions from several perspectives.

She is admitted to all Georgia county and municipal courts, Texas Courts, and the United States District Court, Southern District of Georgia. Jaclyn was previously an international flight attendant and maintains a great love of travel.
