Jane Kotake is a Partner in the Commercial Real Estate Practice and has been with the firm since 1999. Specializing in all areas of commercial real estate development, Jane represents builders, developers, investors, and lenders in the acquisition, disposition and development of real property. She also assists with the formation, management and operation of ownership entities, drafts real estate documentation, advises developers and builders in their sales and marketing activities, and provides advice regarding compliance with statutes, including the Georgia Condominium Act, the Interstate Land Sales Full Disclosure Act (ILSA), as well as the FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA guidelines.
Representing developers throughout the county in the creation of a broad range of real estate developments, Jane is considered an industry leader and expert in condominiums (new construction and conversion), master planned communities, new urban communities, mixed-use developments, senior housing communities, and other types of real estate developments involving complex and simple ownership structures.
Jane was named a “Georgia Rising Star” in 2006, 2007 and 2009. She is also a frequent contributor to Developments in Real Estate, the Weissman newsletter for builders, developers and the real estate community.
