Marlene G. Young

Marlene Young is an attorney in the firm’s Peachtree City residential closing office. She has substantial experience closing real estate transactions and counseling clients on a wide variety of real estate transactions, including contract drafting and negotiation, resolution of title problems and tax free real estate exchanges. Marlene has worked with builders and developers on their real estate transactions.
She is a member of the Fayette County Bar Association, Fayette County Board of REALTORS®, Fayette County Chapter of the Women’s Council of REALTORS® and the Newnan-Coweta Board of REALTORS®. She was named the 2013 Affiliate of the Year by the Fayette Board of REALTORS® and the 2009 Affiliate of the Year by the Fayette Chapter of the Women’s Council.
Marlene is involved with her community through church, education and volunteer work. At her church, Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church, she has served as Chairperson of the Personnel Committee for several years, taught Sunday School and has served on the Board of Directors for the preschool. She has served as the President of the Parent/Teacher Organization at her children’s school and is involved in school fundraising activities. Marlene has lived in Peachtree City since 1996, and has two children, Ashley and Michael.
