Tyler C. Dunn

Tyler Dunn counsels corporate, institutional, and individual clients with respect to a variety of commercial and residential real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, foreclosures, and financing.  He works extensively with developers and homebuilders in several areas including contract review/drafting, acquisition due diligence, deal structuring, development, new home construction, the creation of community associations and their documents, as well as handling the closings for new homebuyers.  He is active in the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association, serving as General Counsel to the Association and on its Board of Directors.

Tyler has considerable experience with domestic and international investors in structuring their transactions, advising them regarding issues related to the investment process, and handling their closings.  Additionally, Tyler advises clients with respect to asset and business purchases and sales.  He is a frequent speaker at real estate industry events, including various State Bar seminars.

Earlier in his career, he worked in commercial and insurance defense litigation.  Tyler is also licensed as a property and casualty insurance agent in the State of Georgia.

He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia (2001-present), and he served as Co-Chair of the Real Estate Committee of the Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Georgia from 2008-2010.  He is also a member of the Georgia Real Estate Closing Attorneys Association, Atlanta REALTORS® Association (having served on the Government and Legal Affairs Committee), the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association, the Georgia Bankers Association, and the Mortgage Bankers Association of Georgia.  He was named a 2011-2013 “Georgia Rising Star” as well as a 2014-2017 and 2019-2021 Georgia Trend Legal Elite.

In his spare time, Tyler enjoys spending time with his family, watching football, playing golf, and music.
