Weissman governmental affairs professionals immerse themselves in the local governments of the Atlanta metro region to better understand how they work so we can be more effective. We advocate for our clients working on public policies, regulations, ordinances and laws, lobbying with local, regional and state elected officials, planners, and policy makers. We advise our clients on how economic trends and changes in our public policy environment affect them.
Several of our professionals are licensed lobbyists in the State of Georgia. We are also actively involved in the Council for Quality Growth, Georgia Regional Transportation Authority, Atlanta Regional Commission, Central Atlanta Progress, American Planning Association, Georgia Planning Association, Georgia Quality Growth Partnership, Urban Land Institute, Georgia Real Property Law Section, Georgia Bar Association and Atlanta Bar Association.
