When you don’t know what to expect, you know who to call.
Your Power of Attorney acts on your behalf should you be unable to do so. This person, called your “attorney-in-fact,” can sign in your stead for legal documents. We can help you decide if that person should be able to sign on your behalf as soon as you sign the Power of Attorney, or if it makes sense to only allow them to sign if you are physically or mentally incapable of managing your financial or business affairs. This document is only valid while you are living. A healthcare agent is a separate designation under “Medical Directive.”
